Taya's 16th Birthday Quilt

This will be my 2nd quilt for Taya Michele. She is a Valentine baby & will be 16 in 2017.

My hopes are to give her a full size quilt of hearts

to show her how loved she is by GOD & myself.

If my calculations are correct...

I will need 300 blocks

which means that I have 1388 pieces left to cut

& 285 blocks left to piece.

New TECHNIQUES = Bound Buttonholes (with 2 pieces of lumber being used as a Tailors Clapper)

along with Bagging a Lining Technique & the Built in Beltloop in the back of coat!   

This was also an upcycle for me=the fur collar & hat brim are from a fur vest bought @ a thrift store & the coat fabric is upholstery material (very warm) & lining is tea stained muslin.
